ELECTRIC DUST PRECIPITATOR

PURPOSE:To provide an electric precipitator which can be remove dust stuck to a dust collector, a discharging electrode and a counter electrode plate and always maintains high dust collecting efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A precipitator main body 20 is equipped with an ionizing part 12 and a dust collector 15. The ionizing part 12 electrifies dust particles included in dust containing air by discharging ions from a discharging electrode to the counter electrode plate 11. The dust collector 15 holds positive conducting layers and negative conducting layers laminated with the prescribed clearances and makes the dust containing air pass through the clearances to catch and collect the electrified dust particles by Coulomb's force. The ionizing part 12 consists of an ionizing line unit 21 equipped with the discharging electrode and freely attachably/dechachably fitted to the precipitator main body and the counter electrode plate freely attachably/dechachably fitted to the ionizing line unit. The dust collector 15 is freely attachably/dechachably fitted to the region opposed to the ionizing part of the precipitator main body.
