PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode plate for a CT apparatus and the manufacture thereof with neither deformation nor resonation. CONSTITUTION:In a rolling process, a molybdenum sintered plate material is subjected to a rolling processing at a specified rolling rate to make a molybdenum rolled plate. In a carbonization processing process, the molybdenum rolled plate undergoes a carbonization processing at a heat treatment temperature T1 under a vacuum atmosphere to make an electrode plate. When the heat treatment temperature T1 is above 1,373K, tensile strength exceeds 800KN/mm<2>.
