PURPOSE:To enable a concurrent thawing of a frozen item and a storing of a fresh item to be carried out in a discrete chamber of simple structure or a warm cooked item to be stored in concurrent with a cooling of the hot cooked item and at the same time to enable a storing space within a refrigerator to be attained as wide as possible. CONSTITUTION:A plate-like partition wall 27 and indoor fans 30a and 30b are mounted at a deep part of a supporting column 16 present between openings 14a and 14b within a storing box 20. A cover 40 formed with an aeration hole 41 is mounted at a front part of each of the refrigerator fans 30a, 30b. The partition wall 27 and the refrigerator fans 30a, 30b are mounted at the deep part of the supporting column 16 acting as a dead space so as to form a small chamber suitable for a thawing operation without decreasing any storing space within the storing box 20. In the case that the refrigerator is used as a warm keeping device, heat of hot cooked item is removed to heat a chamber RM2. |
