摘要 PURPOSE:To maintain the driving performance of a vehicle properly by calculating a correction factor from required and actual quantities of intake air and changing the correction factor to a reference value using a correction factor modification means if the correction factor falls out of a predetermined range. CONSTITUTION:An airflow meter 16 provided in a combustion chamber for an engine 10 measures the actual quantity of intake air Qm. The required quantity of intake air Qc is determined using a data map based on the number of revolutions of the engine and the opening of a throttle valve 20 to determine a correction factor K=Qc/Qm. The actual quantity of intake air Qm is entered to both engine and transmission control computers 32, 34 to correct speed change conditions or the value of a speed change parameter to optimally control an automatic transmission 68. At this point, if it is judged that the correction factor K falls out of a predetermined range, a correction factor modification means sets the correction factor to a predetermined reference value. This constitution allows maintaining driving performances at a given level.
