PURPOSE:To treat a material to be treated in a flexible container by isotropic pressure by sealing the material to be treated in a flexible container, charging the container to a treating chamber of a high-pressure cylinder flexible container and advancing a piston to the treating chamber. CONSTITUTION:A flexible container 15 is charged into a treating chamber 24A of a high-pressure cylinder 24. A piston 25 is advanced so as to generate isotropic pressure in a sealing liquid surrounding a liquid to be treated or the material treated sealed in the container. High pressure treatment can be carried out without using a pressure medium or in a state isolated from a pressure medium.
