PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which is applied to a high polymer dispersion type liquid crystal and obviates the peeling of the entire part even when the part decreasing the transmittance of the light of a luminescent point defect part is touched by hand. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device has at least a liquid crystal cell of a pair of transparent substrates 4, 5, and the high polymer dispersion type liquid crystal 1 sealed between the transparent substrates 4 and 5 and transparent org. resin films 6, 7 stuck to both surfaces of the liquid crystal cell. At least one of the transparent org. resin films 6, 7 and high polymer dispersion type liquid crystal 1 of the above-mentioned liquid crystal display device or at least one of the transparent org. resin films 6, 7 and color filters 10 are irradiated with an energy beam 9 to lower the transmittance of the light of the luminescent point defect part. |
