<p>PURPOSE:To allow a substitute terminal equipment to receive a call by referencing a terminal equipment data relating to the incoming call transfer of an accommodated terminal equipment when the transfer is not made from a 1st terminal equipment to a 2nd or a 3rd terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:Upon the receipt of a packet data sent from a data terminal equipment PT1, a caller station PS1 sends a packet to a called station PS4 to which a host computer H1 is accommodated. Then the packet sent from the terminal equipment PT1 reaches the called station PS4 via a relay station PS2 and received and processed by the computer H1. When other station PS2 (PS3) detects a fault of a line 104 (106) connecting to the called station PS4, the result is sent to the caller station PS1. Then the station PS1 references a terminal data 60 relating to the incoming call transfer of the data terminal equipment PT1. Then the station PS1 recognizes it that a data terminal equipment H2 is registered as a transfer destination on the occurrence of a fault and sends the received packet to an exchange station PS3. Thus, the packet is sent to a substitute terminal equipment, the case of disable communication is reduced and the reliability is improved.</p> |
