A method of cutting pipes with simultaneous flattening of the end, in which, in successive stages, the pipe is placed at a suitable angle to the cutting knives and further the flattening of the pipes ends is executed, characterized in that two sets of cutting knives are placed at an angle which corresponds to the angle between the pipe bevels, where the cutting edge of one set of cutting knives and the generator of the external wall of the pipe are located on a common line, and the cutting knives are shifted by the value of the angle between the bevel and the lengthwise axis of the pipe, and the pipe is moved parallel to the original position by an amount corresponding to the value of the shift of the bevel contact areas, further the units of cutting knives are set in motion, these cut the pipe and at the same time shape the flattened ends of the pipe.3. A device for cutting pipes with simultaneous flattening of the ends, containing units of cutting knives in the form of rectangular plates, which are mounted in tool posts situated in the immobile and mobile part, and the mobile part is connected to the piston of the press and is mounted on columns which facilitate its motion towards the immobile part, characterized in that it has a base (1) which is mounted rotatably in a ring (2) and is fitted with a replaceable lower tool post (3) with mounted lower cutting knives (4) and (5), and two columns (7), on which there is mounted a sliding punch holder (8) fitted with a replaceable upper tool post (9) with mounted upper cutting knives (10) and (11).<IMAGE>
