PURPOSE:To reduce characteristic change in a thermistor with time by adding at least one kind of oxides of niobium, tantalum and tungsten elements. CONSTITUTION:As for a thermistor composition, at least one of oxides of niobium, tantalum and tungsten elements is added to a main component consisting of oxides of manganese, cobalt, nickel and copper elements by 0.05-50mol%, reduced to the main component element base. By this, a thermistor composition whose specific resistance is 100OMEGA.cm or less and whose resistance change rate at 125 deg.C is 5% or less and which is excellent in characteristic with time is obtained. |
