PURPOSE:To vary parameters even while a musical tone is generated and to provide rich expression of the timewise variation of the musical tone by generating the musical tone control parameters continuously in real time by fuzzy inference. CONSTITUTION:A table ROM 13 connected to a CPU 10 is stored with a membership function which uses the condition part arithmetic of fuzzy inference, etc., and a fuzzy inference device 15 is equipped with plural function generators and performs fuzzy inference arithmetic according to inputted variables. In this case, a membership function editing device 17 is a tablet type input device, which is operated to freely set the shape of the membership function. Namely, when a fuzzy rule which is made to function in performance and a rule to be edited on the membership function editing device 17 are selected with a rule selection switch 18, the fuzzy inference device 15 infers the parameters which control the musical tone continuously in real time according to inputted performance. |
