摘要 A method for bump hazard assessment of a mine area using drill-holes in the assessed area, characterized in that drill-holes (2) are made in sides of the mining excavations (9) at a depth from 10 to 30 m, sloping upwards, being located at a distance of about 200 m in front of the excavation head, and measurement tubes (3) or/and probes with sealing (4) are inserted which separate the atmosphere of the parts of the holes outside the sealing from the atmosphere in the mine (10), in which parts suitable pressures are applied, and then measurement is taken of the time in which this pressure equalises with natural pressure in the gases present in the assessed rock mass. Then a compressed air tank is incorporated into the measurement system and at fixed overpressure the amount of air absorbed by the rock mass is measured in unit time, while the measurements are taken regularly at specific time intervals, and the changes of the measured values, in particular their gradients of increase and decrease, are a basis for the assessment of bump hazard and forecasting of the occurrence of bumps in the assessed mine area.<IMAGE>
