PURPOSE:To provide a device forming a recorded image having a different density with a simple constitution, in a device supplying magnetic toner between an image carrier and a recording electrode, and forming a toner image on the image carrier. CONSTITUTION:When the toner 1 is supplied between the image carrier 5 and the recording electrode 4 by a rotary magnet 2 having a large number of magnetic poles, the carrying quantity of the toner is changed. The change in the toner quantity is detected, and a signal voltage for recording is applied to the recording electrode in synchronism with the signal of the detection, so that the toner image having the different density is formed on the image carrier. Thus, since a complex control system so as to change the signal voltage is not required, the recorded image having the different density can be formed with the simple configuration. |
