A method for generation of soft X radiation through slowing down of electrons in a nucleus field, characterized in that it is conducted through cold nuclear fusion in palladium, using a palladium electrode made of one monocrystal block, preferably in the form of a cuboid with edges parallel to the edges of the elementary crystal cell, and deuterium is introduced in a process of heavy water electrolysis, through a parallel arrangement of cathode and anode planes perpendicularly to a flat aligned side surface of the crystal, and the current to both electrodes is supplied centrally from the rear of the electrodes, between which electrolysis takes place, and the electrolysis is continued until there are phase changes in the electrode, which give rise to nuclear changes.
