Postprocessing device for reproducing video signals previously processed according to modes known as compensated and folded, comprising five postprocessing channels which make it possible, particularly with the aid of image memories (812, 814, 815, 819, 825, 826), of spatial subsampling circuits (813, 823, 831) and of switches (811, 830, 850), to carry out final reproduction of the images corresponding to the original video signals, by alternative selection of the output of one of the image memories or of the output of the fourth and fifth processing channels. Application: analog or digital transmission of television signals.
