PURPOSE:To interrupt only an SS communication block at the time of non communication in a host layer of a communication protocol by allowing an interface section between the spread spectrum (SS) communication equipment and a line or a terminal equipment to implement control in a packet level. CONSTITUTION:An SS interface 15 converts a protocol of a packet exchange network into a protocol in the inside of an SS communication equipment. When a data in a packet level is not in existence, while links of physical interfaces 11,21 of the SS communication equipments 1,2 are connected, SS transmission reception circuits 16,27 interrupt a spectrum communication block. Thus, the idle line connection at the time of no communication is discriminated and communication terminal equipments for even one line more are connected. |
