PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner unit in which a fan casing is provided with a strength, the performance of a cross-flow fan is maintained at a high level, and the installation of an electric heater is facilitated. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a unit body 1 is divided in the fore-aft direction into a room side chamber 3 and an outdoor side chamber 4 by a partition 2 made of sheet metal, and is also divided in the vertical direction into the room side chamber 3 and a machine chamber 6 by a condensate container 5 made of synthetic resin that is fixedly attached to the partition 2 about in its center. Since heat-insulating fan casings 7, 8 of inside and outside cross-flow fans 11, 12 are arranged in a staggered manner along the inside and outside walls of the partition 2, the performance of said cross-flow fans 11, 12 can be maintained at a high level, and the wall thickness of the partition 2 can only be the sum of the wall thickness of the partition and the wall thickness of one side of the heat-insulating casing, resulting in a smaller depth of the unit body. Further, the heat- insulating fan casings 7, 8 are, by virtue of being jointed to the partition 2 having a strength, protected against an impact from outside, and an electric heater 20 as an auxiliary heat source for heating can safely be installed and used. |
