PURPOSE:To improve the use efficiency of a storage means by storing words of a specific field independently of fundamental words. CONSTITUTION:An input means 100 and a display means 105 are provided, and further, a first storage means 101 where words of the specific field are stored together with their reading information, a second storage means 102 where fundamental words are stored together with their reading information and reading information of words which are stored in the first storage means 101 also and pointers indicating storage positions or these reading information in the first storage means 101 are stored instead of words, a first retrieval means 103 which retrieves the second storage means 102 in accordance with reading information inputted from the input means, and a second retrieval means 104 which retrieves the word of reading information in the pointer position in the first storage means 101 at the time of obtaining reading information with a pointer as the result of retrieval of the first retrieval means 103 are provided. |
