<p>PURPOSE:To strictly determine an indicating operation body in the case that the motion of the indicating operation body like the hand or foot of an operator and an indicator is grasped directly as a video image, and information for an indicated object body represented by the motion of he indicating operation body is inputted to an information processor by picture processing. CONSTITUTION:The hand 6 is cut out of a background, and is given binarization processing. In a picture, an area continuous toward the direction of the screen 4 is searched. The tip of a continuous area 11 closest to the screen 4 is made the candidate 12 of a tip point. A circle 23 with a radius of the length 20 to the first joint of a forefinger is drawn around the center of the tip point candidate 12. The circumference of the circle 23 is scanned, and the length 21 crossing the area 11 is measured. The thickness 22 and the length 21 of the forefinger is compared with each other, and the difference of both is settled within a definite range, the tip point candidate 12 is made the tip point 7. Otherwise, the tip point candidate 12 is rejected.</p> |
