<p>PURPOSE:To suppress vibrations of a magnetic shield surrounding the coil of an air-core reactor. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic steel plates are laminated in a frame pattern to form a magnetic shield 2 surrounding a coil 1. Coupling members 4, which are made of a non-magnetic material, are bridged over an opening of the coil 1 between both longitudinal sides of the magnetic shield 2. Opposite ends of the coupling members are laid over the magnetic shield 2, so that both longitudinal sides of the magnetic shield 2 are coupled together. Thereby, vibrations of the magnetic shield are suppressed, and hence noise is mitigated.</p> |
