PURPOSE:To fulfill the pager function by using the identification code of an opposite station transferred from a master set so as to allow a slave set to reply the opposite set directly, thereby informing the incoming of a call to the operator of the master set immediately even when the operator is absent, thereby allowing the operator to reply the call quickly. CONSTITUTION:Stationary type and mobile type main communication equipments being a master set 1 and a handy slave set 1' are combined and when a call signal 21 is received by the master set 1 but the master set does not immediately reply the call, the call signal 21 is transferred to the slave set 1' of a present station. Thus, when the operator leaves the master set 1 with the slave set 1', the operator replies directly with a call bell signal or returns immediately to the master set 1 and makes a reply even when the direct communication is not available. That is, when the reply is not made till the call signal 21 is stopped, the master set transfers 'incoming of call' to the slave set and the slave set notifies the call with bell and incoming display. Then the slave set is operated to send a reply signal 11' to the opposite station 2 to get a speech channel for direct talking.
