PURPOSE:To eliminate a failure which one sheet of original on a transmission side is printed over two sheets of paper on a reception side if the original to be transmitted is set in an inclined state on a transmission original platen on the transmission side when cut paper is used as recording paper on a reception side. CONSTITUTION:A RAM 2 storing transmission picture data is provided and a control part 1 is constituted by processing transmission picture data within the RAM 2 so that the number of reading line for one sheet of original may coincide with the number of stipulated line corresponding to the size of recording paper of an opposite machine when the number of reading lines is more than that of the prescribed lines and when the number of reading lines is fewer than the values which a reference value is added to this number of prescribed lines and by transmitting this transmission picture data. |
