PURPOSE:To have extra time for changing an original in the case of copying the spread original such as a book. CONSTITUTION:By specifying a transfer paper having the size of one page of the spread original when a spread original key 7 is in an on-state and the size of the transfer paper (recording medium) is 1/2 of the transfer magnification of the size of the original, that is, in the case of setting unmagnification, the image by as much as the size of the original is stored in a storage means 8, and the transfer paper is fed when it exists in a both-side paper feeding means 9 so that the image in a specified area which is stored in the storage means 8 is transferred on the surface on a side where the image is not formed, then the image in an area other than the specified area is transferred on the one side of the transfer paper having both sides where the image is not formed when the transfer paper does not exist there. By reading the image by as much as both pages of the spread original at a time in the case of copying the spread original, composite copying time is shortened and the extra time for changing the original is given. Then, the image is transferred on both sides of the transfer paper without stacking the transfer paper in a both-side paper feeding means. |
