1. Mechanized mine lining containing a roof bar, whose upper plate is in contact with the roof of the excavation and which is supported with hydraulic props resting on the floor bar and with a roof bar servomotor resting on a roof fall shield to which the roof bar is connected by an articulated joint, characterised in that the distance (A) between the end (7) of the top plate of the roof bar (1) and the apparent plane (8) which passes through the lengthwise axis of the articulated joint (2) connecting the roof bar (1) to the roof fall shield (3) is not less than 1/4 of the distance (B) between the apparent plane (8) and a second plane (9) passing through the axes of the sockets (11) in which the hydraulic props (4) are connected to the roof bar (1).<IMAGE>
