Stay frame for truck mounted cranes comprising a central part with rectangular box section with a system of fastenings in the form of a ring, ribbings shaped as a truncated cone, and a rear part with rectangular box section, at the end of which are welded some of the rear stays, with retractable rear stays mounted in that part, characterised in that the front stays (10), attached rotationally in a plane horizontal to the main frame by means of a lug (4), are situated over the wheels (15) of the second axle of the front truck, while the vertical cylinder (14) attached to front retractable stays (11) is located between the wheels of the front truck.<IMAGE>
