PURPOSE:To always bring a charging amount of a secondary battery into coincidence with a counter value by employing an up-down type 4 counter circuit, adding at the time of charging and subtracting at the time of discharging. CONSTITUTION:The charging timer circuit comprises a switchable up/down counter having a 4-bit counter 1, a 4-bit counter 2 and a 3-bit counter, and a clock switching circuit 4 for switching the clock of the counter in response to a charging state and a discharging state. |
