PURPOSE:To provide a dye fixing element which ensures excellent shelf stability of an image. CONSTITUTION:A polymer having a monomeric unit contg. both a quat. ammonium group and a group selected among tert. amine, thio-ether, 5-membered hetero-arom. groups, hydrazide, hydrazone and polyarylphenols as a constituent is contained.
