PURPOSE:To obtain playing effect such as an echo by performing a time-division delay/attenuation process corresponding to performance information for plural driving waveform data which are inputted to a closed loop, and repeatedly circulating the information and outputting it as performance information. CONSTITUTION:In a physical model sound source 27, the driving waveform data of respective channels read out of a driving waveform ROM 7 are inputted to an adder 9 on a time-division basis and its output is fed back to the adder 9 through a shift register 28, a low-pass filter 29, etc. In this case, the driving waveforms of the respective channels vary in phase difference between frequency components as the circulation in the closed loop is repeated and are gradually attenuated. The musical sound signals of the respective channels taken out of the adder 9 on a time-division basis are held temporarily in registers 33a and 33b and converted by D/A converters 35a and 35b into analog signals, which are mixed by a mixing circuit 36 and then converted by a speaker 37 into a musical sound, so that the musical sound is outputted. |
