The subject of the invention is a device for additional combustion of the smoke and gases generated in a combustion apparatus, characterised in that it is made of a chamber (1) equipped, at its top, with a first series of holes (4) of a given diameter, at its bottom, with a second series of holes (5) of a diameter substantially less than that of the holes of the first series, the said chamber also being provided at its bottom with an intake (23) of secondary combustion air, the holes of the two series being formed in a wall (6) separating the said chamber from the main combustion heat source of the said combustion apparatus.
