PURPOSE:To obtain a reliable and inexpesive drive circuit by applying a deflection signal where first potential in a period to be deflected is same with last potential in previous period onto the electrode of a deflecting means. CONSTITUTION:The electron beam can pass through all electrodes between vertical deflection electrode 6, 6. When applying a rectuangular wave signal having the gradient polarity changing every one horizontal scanning period (1H) on a horizontal deflection electrode 7, the delfecting direction of the electron beam will change every 1H where during 1H period at odd number in 1 field, for example, the electron beam is deflected sequentially from the left while during 1H period at even number the beam is deflected from the right, thereby a multiplexer constituted of MOS transistors 25-27 is required where sample held i-1, i, i+1th image signals are applied on each drain and output from a terminal 28. A signal where frist potential of every cycle deflected by the horizontal deflection electrode is apporiximately same with last potential of previous cycle is applied. |
