PURPOSE:To prevent inks of different colors from mixing with each other and save the inks by using plural inks of different colors containing as solvents more than two kinds of respective liquids which are incompatible with each other. CONSTITUTION:Red ink 14, for example, fed into an ink chamber 2 is a water-base ink containing water, alcohol or the like as the solvent, while black ink 15 is an oil ink containing an aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbon liquid as the solvent. Since the solvents of the red ink 14 and of the black ink 15 are incompatible with each other, an interface is formed between the two inks so that the two inks do not mix with each other. When alternate layers of water-base inks and oil inks are set up in the ink chamber 2, three or more inks of different colors can be jetted from a single nozzle 1. |
