Device for driving motively moved closing parts for apertures, especially on motor vehicles, having a protective circuit for interrupting the closing movement when an object threatens to be jammed in the aperture. There is a speed transmitter which detects the adjustment speed of the closing part over at least one region of the adjustment travel of the closing part which is critical for the threat of jamming.
