The modular goods-display system has at least one upright column (11) which has attachments for shelves and/or connecting-bars. The column has a continuous tubular core (13) onto which plug hollow sleeves in various positions in such a way that areas along the column remain free. The core has holes (14) on a grid pattern into which rods (17,21) fit. The sleeves have a decorative outer covering. The column is fixed to a support-foot (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - The goods-display system enables the goods to be displayed in different ways which are easily altered.
