A single or multiple row hoeing and weeding machine consists of a tubular transverse frame with upper and lower coupling rods (8, 9) supported on wheels (7). A series of link rods forming a rectangle (10-12) are coupled to a box shaped carriage (2) which can slide along the cross beam (1) or be fixed in any position. A pair of gyroscopic tools (20) revolve on inclined (18a) axles connected to the outer coupling rod (12). At the forward end of the frame (10-12) vertical members (27, 35) fixed to the front of the carriage (2) support grubbing shares (26, 34).
