A process for producing a roller bearing cage of polymeric material for roller bearings for rotary or longitudinal movements having at least one seal lying against a shaft passing through the roller bearing cage so as to seal and slide is to be improved in such a way that such roller bearing cages can be made rationally and hence economically. This is achieved through the following process stages: moulding a frame (1) of an elastic polymer, with the production of at least one seal (6, 7) with rods moulded thereon; spraying a cage section (10) around the frame (1) in such a way that at least the surface (11) intended for the seal and possibly corresponding surfaces (12) of the rods (8) are not sprayed with the plastic of the cage section (10).
