PURPOSE:To obtain a mirror mother tape producing device which can simultaneously produce plural pieces of mirror mother tapes, by controlling the reproducing operation of a master VTR and recording operation of a mother VTR with a main mother VTR. CONSTITUTION:A record control signal is supplied to a main mother VTR2 itself and auxiliary mother VTRs 3 and 4 by operating the key of the main mother VTR2. On each magnetic tape of the mother VTRs 2-4, start cue signals are recorded from a time P1 and then grey video signals S are automatically recorded successively. Thereafter, a master VTR1 is set to the reproducing condition by automatically starting the supply of a reproduction control signal from the mother VTR2 to the master VTR1 at another time P2 and the soft video signal recorded on the master tape of the master VTR1 is supplied to each mother VTR2-4 and recorded on each tape of the mother VTRs 2-4 from the moment when the recording of the grey video signal is terminated. When the recording is terminated, another grey video signal E is recorded and, after the grey signal E is recorded, an end cue signal is recorded. |
