PURPOSE:To provide a polycarbonate plate having excellent formability and fabricability, exhibiting soft translucent feeling and having impact resistance and heat-resistance suitable as a material for screen board, lightening window, illumination light cover, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective polycarbonate plate is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin with (B) 0.1-5 pts.wt. (preferably 1-3 pts.wt.) of a polyolefinic resin (e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-methyl methacrylate copolymer and ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer) and (C) 1-10 pts.wt. of a plasticizer such as fatty acid ester-type, phthalate-type or adipate-type polyester plasticizer and forming the obtained composition in the form of a plate by melt-forming, e.g. by using an extruder. The polycarbonate plate exhibits soft translucent feeling by reflection as well as transmission. |
