PURPOSE:To provide a polypropylene film for processing, which is capable of forming a finally formed article by imparting high shape accuracy and high strength to a primary shape member when a fiber-reinforced plastic-formed article made of an epoxy resin is formed (a forming temperature of about 130 deg.C) from the prepreg thereof. CONSTITUTION:This film consists of a polypropylene film whose thickness is 15 to 50mum. or preferably 20 to 40mum, whose maximum tensile strength is 20 to 35kg/mm<2> in a lateral direction and 18 to 25 Kg/mm<2> in a longitudinal direction, and whose heat-shrinkable rate is 1.0 to 6.0% for both its length and width in the case where it is exposed to heat at a temperature of 130 deg.C for 15 minutes. When the film is used, a prepreg is wound around an core arbor material to form a primary shape member and, thereafter, the polypropylene film for processing is wound around the primary shape member and is then heat cured. |
