PURPOSE:To provide a method for treating condensed water containing suspending metal corrosion product (clad) insoluble or hardly soluble in water. CONSTITUTION:Condensing water in an electric power plant is treated by using a cation filter filled with a cation exchange resin or using a mixture floor of this cation exchange resin and an anion exchange resin. Thus, the removing efficiency of clad is improved. This cation exchange resin consists of copolymers prepared by polymn. of an aromatic monovinyl compd., an aromatic polyvinyl compd. which acts as a cross-linking agent, and an ester type plyvinyl compd.
