<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a visible display from becoming indistinguishable as time passes because of disorder happening after the passage of time in orientation of magnetic flakes in microcapsules. CONSTITUTION:Metallic soap is added as thickening agent to oil 33 stored together with magnetic flakes 34 in microcapsules 32 in a microcapsule layer 30 formed as a visible display area on a transparent base 20. Thereby deterioration with time can be prevented from occurring to the visible display, rewriting in the visible display becomes easy because of thixotropy, and the visible display ca be maintained distinguishable even in case where the temperature rises.</p> |
