<p>PURPOSE:To accurately control tension without mutual interference of tension between respective stands by correcting influence on the upstream and downstream to change draft positions when the variation of tension of a material to be rolled is controlled by the change of the draft positions. CONSTITUTION:When V: the circumferential speed of a roll, S: the opening degree between rolls, sigma: tension between stands are measured and the circumferential speed V and the roll opening degree S are changed based on a target tension sigmaref, the influence of the tension sigma between the upstream stand and downstream stand is canceled and a tension control means APC is constituted so that the opening degree S between the rolls where the tension sigmabetween the stands is made a target value is set. In the tandem rolling, control between the stands can be carried out accurately and without mutual interference of tensions between the respective stands by hydraulic rolling down.</p> |
