<p>PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion-proof performance of nitric acid resistance of the weld zone of a member utilized in a reprocessing plant of spent nuclear fuel in a reactor. CONSTITUTION:A member 1 is used for a nuclear fuel reprocessing plant having a first system for dissolving spent nuclear fuel by the use of a nitric acid solution and extracting an effective component as the nuclear fuel transmitted from a chemical separation process, a second system for recovering the nitric acid solution used for dissolution for the perpose of purification and reuse and a third system for condensing and storing radio active waste liquid produced in each process. The member 1 is composed of joint members 1a, 1b made of austenitic stainless steel containing molybdenum. The joint members 1a, 1b are mutually jointed by an arbitrary weld means to form a weld part 4; on the other hand, the neighborhood of the weld part 4 is heated up to a melting point or higher of the material from the side coming into contact with the nitric acid solution to form a remelt processing layer 6 and the member for the nuclear fuel reprocessing plant can be obtained.</p> |
