<p>PURPOSE:To use a small-sized electric motor and provide good installation to a vehicle and possible control with small current. CONSTITUTION:In a rear wheel steering device for vehicle which controls steering of a rear wheel by connecting an electric motor with one component member 12 of a link mechanism which steers the rear wheel through a reduction gear, and controlling the operation of the electric motor by a controller, there is provided an epicyclic gear mechanism 30 which makes a carrier 33 an output element as the reduction gear. There are also provided the first electric motor 40 with a brake means 40a which is connected with a sun gear 31 in the epicyclic gear mechanism as the electric motor and operates in a range less than a preset vehicle speed, and the second electric motor 50 with a brake means 50a which is connected with a ring gear 34 in the epicyclic gear mechanism and operates in a range more than the preset vehicle speed.</p> |
