PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a vitamin A aqueous solution solubilized with a nonionic surfactant by adding a combination of specific compounds. CONSTITUTION:A vitamin A-aqueous solution solubilized with a nonionic surfactant such as polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil or polyoxyethyline sorbitan fatty acid is compounded with two kinds or more of (A) a liposoluble antioxidant such as dibutylhyroxytoluene, nordihydroguaiaretic acid or tocopherol, (B) a water-soluble antioxidant such as ascorbic acid (salt), hydroquinone or sulfite salt, and (C) an amino acid such as lysine, epsilon-aminocaproic acid or sodium chondroitin sulfate. The additives A, B and C are added in amounts of 100-500wt.%, 300-6000wt.%, and 300-30000wt.%, respectively, to the aqueous solution containing 500000 units of vitamin A. The simultaneous employment of all of the three ingredients gives a stronger stabilization effect. |
