<p>PURPOSE:To remove envelope torsion occurrence without transmitting the return operation of a reverse roller at the time of feeding an envelope by providing at a reverse roller drive transmission portion a drive changeover means that can change drive over to connection and changeover. CONSTITUTION:As a drive changeover means provided at the drive transmission portion of a reverse roller, a follower gear 12 is furnished movably in a reverse roller shaft 7a axial direction. A long hole 16 extending in the reverse roller shaft direction is formed at the boss portion of the follower gear 12, and a pin 17 fixed at the reverse roller shaft 7a is put in the long hole 16. As a result, the follower gear 12 is movable in the reverse roller axial direction, and can rotate together with the reverse roller shaft 7a. When an envelope is fed to a paper feed device, a slide lever 13 is operated, and the follower gear 12 is moved to a cutting off position. Accordingly, the reverse roller merely rotates with a feed roller, and feeding can be done without twisting the envelope.</p> |
