PURPOSE:To make it possible to widely conduct tuning being faithful to an actual sound of a musical instrument, for several instruments, octaves, scales, etc. CONSTITUTION:In a state of a recording mode being specified, a musical instrument sound signal is inputted through a microphone 10 and the pitch information thereon is detected and written in the one of memories M(1) to M(n) selected by a memory selector 20 and in a storage area corresponding to a pitch name selected by a pitch name selector 22. In a state of a tuning mode being specified, the musical instrument sound signal is inputted from a musical instrument to be tuned, through the microphone 10, and the pitch information thereon is detected, while the pitch information is read out from the storage area corresponding to the pitch name selected by the pitch name selector 22 in the one of the memories M(1) to M(n) selected by the memory selector 20. The pitch information detected and the pitch information read out are compared with each other and the result of comparison such as a shift is displayed. |
