<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to confirm normal end of stapler operation of a paper treating unit in which papers are discharged from a printer or the like and stacked and thus stacked papers are bound by means of a stapler needle and discharged. CONSTITUTION:Papers PP carried out from a carrying section 12 are stacked and bound by means of a stapler needle 21 at a stapler section 2 and then carried out through the carrying section 12. In such paper treating unit, means for detecting the operating state of the stapler section 2 and a control section 7 for monitoring the output from the state detecting means 29 and producing an alarm upon detection of abnormality in the stapler section 2 are provided.</p> |
