<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorant efficiently removing various malodorous substances by adding a calcium salt to spring water of a metal mine containing sulfates and basic salts of heavy metals multiply to adjust the pH of the spring water. CONSTITUTION:A calcium salt-containing solution is added to waste water or spring water of a metal mine containing salts of heavy metals such as iron, aluminum, copper or the like, for example, sulfates such as FeSO4, Al2(SO4)3 or the like or basic salts such as Fe(OH)2, Al(OH)3 or the like. Thereafter, the pH of said waste water or spring water is adjusted to form a neutral precipitate which is, in turn, filtered and dried. Since the deodorant thus obtained contains heavy metals multiply, basic salts and sulfates act on various malodorous substances. Therefore, this deodorant can synthetically correspond to various malodorous substances and is inexpensive.</p> |
