PURPOSE:To remarkably efficiently and safely recover triglyceride in triglyceride-containing microorganismic cells by crushing the microorganismic cells being dispersed in water, dehydrating the resultant crushed cells and subsequently extracting them by using a solvent. CONSTITUTION:Triglyceride-containing microorganismic cells are dispersed in water, crushed in that state and dehydrated by using a spray drier, etc. The resultant dehydrated crushed cells are subsequently extracted by using a solvent such as n-hexane or ethanol to recover triglyceride contained in the microorganismic cells with a simple process. In addition, the above-mentioned extraction in contact with the solvent is preferably carried out in a column. |
