PURPOSE:To enable the production of an image of high quality with a phase matched sufficiently in real time without the use of a costly hardware equipment such as fast AD converter in a receiving beam forming device of ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is provided with a sampling data gaining means to obtain respective sampling data from detectors in an ultrasonic prove 10, digital signal processing means 101-164 provided on each sound line of a beam scan and a digital multiplexer which distributes the sampling data to respective digital signal processing means synchronizing with the beam scan. The respective digital signal processing means contains a sampling data memory 51, a DSP52, a program memory 53 and an image data memory 54 and performs a phasing addition computing processing for the sampling data to be supplied with a software. |
