PURPOSE:To enable keeping of a tooth brush always sanitary by arranging a section for housing a brushing part of the tooth brush and a thermally disinfecting means in the housing section to prevent the proliferation of miscellaneous germs at the brushing part of the tooth brush. CONSTITUTION:In this tooth brush disinfecting apparatus, an apparatus body 1 is provided with a housing section 3 for a brushing part 2a of a tooth brush 2 and a part 4 for holding a handle 2b of the tooth brushing part. The housing section 3 is so arranged that a container 3a disposed in the apparatus body 1 is covered with a transparent open lid 3b and is provided with a thermally disinfecting means 5 having a heater 5a for boiling water in the container 3a. An extension cord 6 for power source connection of the thermally disinfecting means 5 is led outside while a switch button 7 and a switch lamp 8 for the thermally disinfecting means 5 are provided at proper points of the apparatus body 1. The thermally disinfecting means 5 may be provided with a hot air generation source at a proper position of the housing section to disinfect the brushing part 2a by hot air. |
